Happy Birthday to me... Opeth will be here 2 days after my birthday on March 7th. I should mention that opening for them is Dark Tranquillity and Devil-Driver. Hell yes.

Also, it turns out I am also getting a girlfriend for my birthday as well. Well, actually I have a girlfriend, but I actually get to see her. She is hopping on 3 flights just to come down here to hang out for 5 days. That is possibly the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me... it even eclipses the BMW that she bought me for Christmas (it was a toy... It was sweet... and I did ask for a Bimmer). I love her. This will be the best birthday ever.
I have been trying to post an update, but no matter how much I try, I just can't get words down to explain my life right now. I'm just tied up with so many different things that I can't really get things into a coherent post. Any spare time that isn't tied up in work, maintaining a long distance relationship or figuring out my living and job situation in BC, is tied up with a couple of job ventures that I can't seem to get out of my head. Hopefully my research will pay off and I can actually pursue something when I'm in BC. For the time being... lots and lots of homework in order to make sure things might actually be profitable.
Now... I also need to stop having nightmares and waking up at 4am. 2 weeks of a couple of different recurring nightmares is a little too much. It's actually exhausting me. Why does the alien have to eat the bear? And why does my sister find that funny? She's usually not that inconsiderate. And when will I actually find out what the hell is chasing me up the mountain? And who the hell is running with me? I wonder if these questions will ever be answered?
God... I hate nightmares.
Alright... back to my regularly scheduled night of work. BORING.
